Situated right in the heart of the National Forest, the Forestry Centre at Rosliston consists of over 120,000 trees, wild flower meadows and a fishing lake interspersed with a network of well maintained footpaths and cycle tracks suitable for all abilities including wheelchairs.

There is a restaurant and conference facilities on the site as well as a bird of prey centre where owls, kestrels and other birds of prey can be seen.

Rosliston Forestry centre is very family orientated, running a full programme of year round events featuring, guided walks, cycling, wild life watch sessions, Easter egg hunts, archery and if you’ve a head for heights, you can even test your skills on the climbing wall.

Birthday parties, laser games, orienteering, cycle hire and fishing are also available on site plus the usual play and picnic areas.

In addition, regular bird and astronomy courses are held at the centre which can be joined at any time and are suitable for all the family.

The centre also has four wooden holiday lodges, ideal for longer breaks.  These accommodate between 4 and 10 guests.
